Local Black Led Faith Community Outreaches

Omega Community Development Corporation   Aims to equip individuals, families, and children with the resources, tools, and opportunities to break t

he cycle of generational poverty and achieve self-sufficiency through education, employment,

economic development, and advocacy

Grace United Methodist   Provides free culinary training for community members, among other outreaches

Restorative Justice

Montgomery County Office of Reentry: minimizes barriers to effective reentry

Montgomery County Jail Coalition: aims to confront injustices related to incarceration

Writers in Residence (WIR)Teaches creative writing to youth who are incarcerated to empower their voices and assist their reentry,

founded and directed by a Chaminade Julienne graduate

Learn to Earn - works to ensure all children in Dayton are successful in school and life

Preschool Promise - helps 3 and 4-year old children in Dayton prepare for Kindergarten

El Puente - serves as a bridge for Latino students and families to academic success and well-being

Miracle Makers - after-school and summer learning program focused on holistic growth

Dakota Center - after school tutoring and senior resources in the DeSoto Bass community
